Fees

This season, Le French Teacher is pleased to offer prospective students a financing program that reflects a Pay What You Like model. Although the cost of private classes might be prohibitive for many, Le French Teacher hopes to make French accessible to all families. In order to welcome students at every financial level, we invite parents to make regular payments to the program as they would any other extra-curricular program within their budget. This model allows each family to evaluate the suitability of the program for their children. Everyone benefits when students are excited to learn and parents are pleased with the value of their investment. Payment for classes is received on a monthly, weekly or per class basis. Receipts will be issued the first week of the month for the previous month’s payments.

  • etransfers can be sent to nick@debrey.ca

  • cheques can be made out to Nick Debrey and sent to the school

Online Classes

Classes will take place either through Google Meet or Zoom. A link will be provided before classes begin. Students must be connected to a stationary device (computer, laptop, tablet on a stand etc.) with high-speed internet. The device must have a camera and a microphone. The student should be in a quiet location free from distractions. Though the student will be seated for parts of the class, other parts will require standing and moving around. As a result, there should be space around the student to allow for movement.

Be aware that classes take place exclusively in French with only rare exceptions. Understanding and confidence are built up slowly each week so that all students feel at ease.
